The establishment Republicans are just no really Republicans.  I don't know how they can be so delusional as to think that Democrat-lite will appeal to anyone at all.  It's the Karl Rove recipe for disaster and disaster it will be if the Conservatives and the grassroots can't win.  You won't have to worry about the nanny-state anymore, because what will be coming will be much much worse.
