Promises, Promises ... Always Promises ... And Never Kept!

SEE HERE If there is one thing you can't trust a Democrat to keep it is promises that trade new taxes or anything else for spending cuts. The track record on this is quite clear. Every time, every time they make a promise like this they fail to keep it. That's called lying where I come from. Bargaining with liars is a recipe for getting conned. Don't bargain. Make them a deal they can't refuse and make it stick! The problem with Democrats is they are liars. The problem with Republicans is they are wimps. It's hard not to think sometimes that the cartoon above captures much of the truth of the situation. Maybe we need to throw them all out and start over.
