Sarah Palin's decision to step down as governor seems to have bewildered the usual beltway pundits. I think it makes all kinds of sense. It frees her Lt. Governor to get some experience under the belt before running for the governorship. It frees the people of Alaska from the problems associated with the nuisance suits being tossed up by every left wing wacko who has an imagination. Finally it frees up Sarah Palin to focus on the things she knows are really important and wants to spend time on. I think in the long run this will be a Win/Win for Sarah Palin who has one property that almost all the politicians in Washington lack: Authenticity! Give a listen.
