This is what a mosque at ground zero is about! In your face New York. It should not be built near the site of the Twin Towers. That is sanctified ground where over 3000 Americans lost their lives to Islamic Terrorists. We'll defer the question of whether all sincere adherents to Islam are proto-terrorists. I'm inclined to say they are due to the way later teachings of Mohammad supersede earlier teachings. The practices of Islam include far too much barbarism for my taste. But whatever the larger strategy to deal with the growing specter of militant Islam the one thing that seems certain is that the mosque near ground zero should not be built there.
