SEE HERE I guess the budget deal isn't much of a deal when the players don't agree to play by the rules. When are Republicans going to get it, that Democrats never play by the rules. Negotiations with Democrats are pointless because the only reason the Democrats negotiate at all is to get the other side to agree to vote for something and then they go right back to doing whatever it is they want to do paying no attention to any agreements. They are simply a dishonorable and dishonest bunch. The proper response is to stop bothering to negotiate or to put fangs in the negotiations that make it embarrassingly clear that there are consequences to not honoring the agreement. Joseph Sobran didn't call the Republicans "the stupid party" for no reason at all. After Lucy pulls the ball out a few time Charlie Brown, you should stop letting her hold the football.
