War By Designated Target ...

SEE HERE Technology has always changed warfare.  The long bow and later the cross-bow reduced the effectiveness of armor.  The long gun finished it off until the development of personal body armor.  Even in that march of technology the targets were always on a battlefield.  Now we have "advanced", although considering the ability to more surgically select the victim in a killing as "advance" is perhaps a mangling of the English language.  Nevertheless, now we can decided to send a cruise missile through a particular window in a building at a particular time.  We can target a particular person using a Predator aircraft.  This seems, in principle, to change everything.  The technology is not beyond the reach of anyone with the money and technical know how.  I've been seeing reports of terrorists thinking of using radio controlled model aircraft to perform similar deeds.  Mans inhumanity to man continues unabated.  One wonders what the angels think?  The demons are no doubt delighted.
