The Oath Is To Uphold The Constitution And Not Bow To The Commander In Chief
SEE HERE The behavior of the White House towards the military is decidedly ambivalent. On the one hand he treats them like lackeys and on the other he seems to be shaping them towards a force which is loyal to leaders and not to their oath of office. That didn't work out so well for the Roman Empire because it led to a war between military leaders. It won't work out well for America either. The oath each soldier and each elected official takes is to uphold the Constitution of the United States and it's time they started acting like they intend to do just that.
