Global Warming Commentary with Lord Christopher Monckton

A very interesting interview with Lord Christopher Monckton on the whole global warming scam. It actually runs through five separate short videos. Worth listening to. Among the interesting points is that the science of warming (the real science) shows that the climate models are predicting six times higher warming than they would if they properly estimated the thermal radiation from the planet as it warms. This of course means that a problem the IPCC estimates to produces say 3 degrees Centigrade over some 150 years will really, even if they are right about the impact of the CO2 lead only to 0.5 degrees Centigrade, which you probably won't notice.

This stuff is all really phony. The politicization of science leads to very bad places. It's all about bad science used to fuel political power plays. Monckton also summarizes, four or five segments in, the whole DDT fiasco that killed 40 million children over forty years because of propaganda. Bad science has extremely bad effects. It can cripple economies and kill people. Before saluting this kind of thing we need to see incontrovertible evidence not mantras about fictional scientific consensus. It is essential to understand that science is not done through consensus but through evidence. If the science is real then the data should be presented and thoroughly analyzed. It hasn't been done because it isn't there.
