A City On A Hill

WORTH A LOOK Inspiration is where you find it. The American experience is unique in history. There are certainly other inspiring stories in history, the rise of the Athenian democracy, the "Three Old Greeks" as I call them, Socrates, Plato and Aristotle, in one short period setting the foundation for philosophy in the West. The Roman Republic established the basis of a stable empire which lasted nearly a thousand years.

But in the modern era there is no more inspiring story than the rise of the United States. We do all of our citizens a great disservice when we fail to adequately explore our own history and the vision that underlies it.
