Government Create Jobs? Have You Thought About That Proposition? It's Ridiculuous!
SEE HERE Thomas Sowell has a way of cutting to the core of an idea in relatively few words. That's one of the reasons that I love him so much. In this little piece he points out in rather simple terms why the idea of government creating jobs is simply ridiculous.
Government doesn't create anything. It takes in the form of taxes and spends usually on things that don't produce anything but paper or worse actually obstruct the productive acts of others. So in case you wonder where all the jobs are that the government has been "creating," stop wondering. They're not there and the only thing the government is busy creating is more poverty.
