iPhone Confession App

SEE HERE Give me a break! This managed to get totally confused as one of my colleagues popped into my office this morning and said something like "Did you hear that you can use your iPhone to go to Confession?" — well he didn't quite say that, but that was sort of the gist. I had no idea what he was talking about but here's one of the stories this managed to generate. The VATICAN
was quick to point out that this was not going to confession on the phone. The iPhone app is apparently something to help Catholics with the examination of conscience that is expected to precede any confession. Confession is a sacrament of the Church and implements Jesus's injunction: "Whose sins you shall forgive they are forgiven them. Whose sins you shall retain they are retained." John 20:32.
