Candidate Obama vs. President Obama

SEE HERE This is another of those famous flip-flops that seem to characterize the Democrats. The only thing you know about a Democrat is that when their lips are moving they are lying. Now that's a universal statement and there must be exceptions ... right? No! The reason they are lying is that they are merely talking for effect. If the effect they want turns out to require the contradictory narrative then thats the one they will use the next time. There are wonderful stories about how Senator Hubert Humphrey would work a room telling each person what he wanted to hear. That's a pathology. People want principled leadership, not unprincipled leadership. I want to know when a person tells me something that he's personally invested in it. You never get that with Democrats at least I've never seen it which is why I'm a Republican. At least there you get it about 50% of the time.
