The Twits Are In Charge — Edict Trumps Thought!

Family is the core and before family the committed, covenanted relationship between one man and one woman, often enough degraded and marginalized in the past by polygamy, especially among the twits. I use "Twit" in the technical sense. The technical sense of "twit" is a person who thinks that because they say it, it must be true and that their truth trumps whatever other considerations are on the table. The list of twits is very long indeed. The top of the twit list currently would be President Obama, who imagines that it doesn't matter what he said last, only what he is saying now. Obviously the rest of us will quickly forget yesterday's pronouncements. Continuing down the list we find most of the Democrats in the Senate and Congress, of course there are rare exceptions. In the other branches of government there are the bureaucrats who are usually twits since they get to write regulations independent of anything actually factual such as the recent notion of regulating farm dust. But the worst of the twits may well be the judges who imagine that their whims should become law and that their assessment of the current reality trumps the thousands of years of human history and philosophy and morality. Save us all from the twits! BTW the technical sense of 'twit' is my personal invention. It will become normative in the future if I have any say in the matter.
