A Man Is Known By The Company He Keeps

SEE HERE  OK ... I've given the Nelson Mandela thing a pass.  It's a bad joke to fly the American flag at half-mast for someone who is not only not an American but can hardly be held up for inspection as a person dedicated to freedom except in the most narrow and rather bigoted sense.  Mandela was not someone I'd hold up for honors.  Some of the reasons are here in this article.  We should start wondering more about the people who are so quick to honor people like Mandela and ignore or even disdain people like Margaret Thatcher.  We live in decadent and declining times, but there is little point in hastening the collapse.
