SEE HERE It's really amazing how stupid our "betters" in government seem to think we are. Here we have President Obama talking out of one side of his mouth on one occasion and out of the other side on another occasion and on neither occasion really being candid about the program that was supposed to create jobs. The real problem is that government can't create jobs anyway. It's all slight of hand. Taking money from Peter to give Paul a hand out, hurts both Peter and Paul. Peter loses the income he has earned and is resentful and can't provide as much for his family and Paul who was in trouble to begin with has now been rewarded for his distress and learns a lesson of dependency. Once the economic flim-flam passes both are worse off. Peter because he is poorer, and Paul because he is poorer too having learned a lesson of dependency all too familiar among the welfare receiving class. Government done this way is a poor steward of the nation's taxes. There is something fundamentally immoral and unsound about government redistribution of wealth. If a man wants to contribute to help his less fortunate brother that is a personal decision. When government does it, it is a faceless bureaucrat spending someone else's money.
