The Tea Party Convention

SEE HERE There's a Tea Party convention going on in Nashville and there is a journalistic feeding frenzy going on to generate criticism and dissension if possible. One criticism is that it costs too much and so must be for profit .... that's pretty funny when you think about it. When did "profit" become a dirty word on the conservative side of the spectrum that actually understands profit. Only liberals think that the world can exist without profit this side of heaven. Of course their idea of "not for profit" is to force a kind of uniformity on all and sink everyone into a malaise of eternal poverty. Profit is the reward for innovation, for creating things, for making jobs. Only the left thinks that stealing (ur taxing everyone) and then spending the taxes to create jobs is a viable model. The quality of thought on the left leaves a lot to be desired. It's rather akin to believing that good intentions without hard work will payoff, or that meaning well is an excuse when things don't go well. The left lives in lala land. They probably actually believe in the toothfairy. Give me a good profit anytime ... it's a measure of how much people like my work.
