Sarah Palin After Her Address to Tea Party Nation

The whole deal is at The Right Scoop — The distinguishing feature of Sarah Palin relative to most politicians is that she's a real person not some sort of homogenized production of focus groups and spin doctors. How long that will be true is anyone's guess. Her gig on Fox News will be the beginning of changing her and we'll see how she reacts as the media types try to spin her to their perspective. She's compelling to real people insofar as she is a real person. She speaks to the gut of folks who actually go to church and care about the history of the United States and the goals of the founders. I think she's a fresh face with a fresh perspective and not one of the plastic people who have been Washingtonized.
