The Enlightenment of the Anointed: or Where Do They Get Off

SEE HERE There is something so outrageous about the selective myopia of the progressive/liberal/loony left that one has to roll one's eyes and get dizzy sometimes just trying to follow their contradictory and incoherent behavior. They are so one sided, so double dealing, and so selective in their criticism and judgment that you have to wonder at their sanity. How can you be so perverse? But they are. In ordinary people you'd want to have them checked into a nut house for some observation. They insist on seeing racism where there is none and ignoring it where it is all on a thoroughly ideological basis. Moreover they go around infecting others so that many young people begin to mouth the same distortions and lies so that sometimes it takes them years to recover. Recover they often do. I enjoyed reading how Thomas Sowell was once a marxist and G.K. Chesterton was once a socialist. People like that can recover but it's not entirely clear that the more weak minded ever surface again after being sucked down into the unreality zone.
