Nonsense About Communism Needs to be Addressed

SEE HERE Communists, Marxists, Socialists and all the other statists like to make all sorts of claims about how caring they are. It plays well in the press and media generally. There is only one problem: It's bunk! All the power grabbers in the world always want to say that they are only grabbing power to give it to the people who deserve it, snatching it away from all those evil [oops ... never use angle brackets in a web document ... fill in the blanks with your favorite leftist mantra ... money grubbing capitalists, greedy bankers, profiteering manufacturers, ... the list is nearly endless since liberals never met a productive occupation they couldn't hate]

What's the truth? The truth is that except for a few soft-socialisms which exist in countries with homogeneous populations, there has never been a successful, benign statist government. They usually impoverish the citizenry and conduct pogroms against a victim class used to convince the populace that they are being exploited by the said victim class to deflect attention from the real tyrants. These government have killed literally hundreds of millions of people worldwide in the century just past. Don't be misled. It's a very bad idea.
